Kindergarten Teacher
Job Title: Kindergarten Teacher
Position Type: Full Time
Reports to: Board, Lead Teacher
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Teaching experience preferred
- Familiarity or experience with the classical Christian education model preferred
- Member of a local church and able to affirm the school’s statement of faith
- Pass background check and fingerprint screening
Duties and Responsibilities
- Effectively teach assigned Kindergarten curriculum
- Grow in knowledge of, and skill in, classical Christian education
- Cultivate moral and intellectual virtue in students
- Enforce a cohesive discipline system across all grades, including the uniform and homework policies
- Model a love for what they teach
- Love students and work hard to help them grow
- Uphold the Academy’s Code of Conduct
- Attend all staff meetings
- Attend all required school events outside of school hours
- Model the Christian faith to students
- Pray with and for students
Lower School Teacher
